This very special ranch is located in the far west of the State with views of the Hualapai, Mohave and Buck Mountains near the town of Yucca. They have the unique ability to offer a completely barrier-free vacation to all disabled travellers and their families. A ranch road climbs from the San Bernadino Valley and the San Simon Valley in south-eastern Arizona into a box canyon that once sheltered Apaches. You are surrounded by the Chiricahua Mountains, whose rocky peaks reach 9,000 feet. This is rancher country where generations of pioneering families worked and preserved the land. Today, this ranch land is surrounded by 500,000 acres of national forest and wilderness. The abundance of water has drawn people here for thousands of years. In fact, the foundations of ancient Indian villages can still be seen. The 10 double occupancy guest rooms - each with a private bath - reflect the ranch's rustic elegance in every detail, including an eclectic collection of local art and memorabilia. They generally offer two rides a day, each about two to three hours long. The trails range from grassy meadows to more challenging terrain.
