LONG HOLLOW RANCH OREGON

Long Hollow Ranch is a working guest ranch located in the heart of Oregon's most scenic recreation areas.  Long Hollow Ranch is also an authentic working cattle ranch, so live those cowboy dreams by working with ranch hands on authentic ranch activities from fixing fence to moving irrigation to working with cattle.

A newly remodelled 100 year old ranch house, formally known as the Headquarters building is   comfortably furnished in a casual traditional style and offers five guest rooms with private facilities.  In addition there is a Cottage which comprises of kitchen and bathroom which will sleep four.  Home cooked meals are served family style.

Local rodeos, fairs, music and art festival within a few minutes of the property - check when you book on dates.  Separate fly fishing programme available - ask for rates

Sunday Check- in anytime after 3:00 PM  After settling in guests are invited to a pre-dinner social to meet the LHR staff. A light dinner will be served around 6:00pm. This will be followed by guest orientation at 7:30PM. Orientation is the perfect time to visit with your horse staff and tour the ranch barn facility.

Monday starts with a hearty breakfast at the ranch and continues with ride orientation at the barn. Guests meet their horse and spend arena lesson time getting to know their steed. After lunch, a ranch trail ride departs from the barn and travels along the outskirts of the ranch. This is a great ride for orienting yourself with the wildlife and scenery of Long Hollow.

Tuesday includes trail riding and a trip to town with the wrangler to local tack and western stores. Enjoy your evening dessert socializing around the spa.

Wednesday  Enjoy a half day of River Rafting on the McKenzie or Deschutes Rivers (to be prebooked extra charge)  Lunch is served on the river, back at the ranch dinner includes a wagon ride and cookout at the west pond.

Thursday morning guests can choose either a trail ride or arena time. Dinner will be followed by the Sunset Trail Ride.

Friday  start with cattle orientation; Riders will have opportunity to learn how to push, sort and cut cattle. The day ends with a "fine dining" experience.

Saturday  Brunch will be served on the trail. Departure by 12:00 noon

Prices start from £783 pp per week 15 Mar-8 June, £844 8 June-21 Sept includes 3 meals a day, accomm, ranch activities, a 10% service charge will be added to your quote.   Transfer free from Redmond.  Extras golf and rafting.   This ranch can be combined with a rafting trip or fly-drive.
