This charming family run ranch lies along the Clarks Fork of the Yellowstone River and in the shadows of the magnificent Beartooth Mountains. The ranch is approximately 60 miles south of Billings 40 miles north of Cody- right on the border. This really is the "heart of the west".
Whether you are a novice or an experienced rider, you will find horses suited to your riding ability. Their rides explore the ranch, wide open range and pine covered mountains. You may spend your days on the ranch learning about horses and cattle, helping with the chores, exploring nature, fishing or just soaking up the beauty and the quiet. If you want to take a break from riding, once a week they plan a day trip to explore the western town of Cody. Visit the famous Buffalo Bill Museum, stroll the historic main street that offers a variety of shops filled with everything western imaginable and (during the summer when it operates) take in the Cody Nite Rodeo.
Also nearby are great options for fishing. You can either step out the door to the banks of the Clarks Fork and cast your line for a trophy trout or you can take a short walk down to the creek for little brookies. With all the fresh air and activities available, they know the importance of good, hearty, home cooked meals. Breakfast, lunch and supper are all served family style in the ranch house. All of the rooms feature private baths, air conditioning and either a mountain or river view!
