If you drive out to Triple J Ranch, you may begin to wonder if you are ever going to get there! The road ends at the Ranch and you will see the drive was worth while as you will find a fine western style Lodge.

Every cozy cabin is unique with down comforters, private bathrooms, coffee maker, small refrigerator, hummingbird feeders and blooming flowers.

These cabins easily accommodate from one to six persons and daily maid service provided. Covered porches with outdoor seating provide additional space to soak up the outdoors. Check in 4-6pm & check out 10.00 am.

Back in the Lodge they serve wholesome and hearty home-style meals every day.  Additionally, you can expect traditional cowboy cook-outs, plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and home-made breads and goodies. Special diets are easily accommodated with advance notice.

In addition to the extensive riding programme, in true Dude ranch tradition, they offer a  Children and Teens Programme. They help kids discover the wonders of nature in a safe environment. The Children's Programme is available for 6-12 year olds and the Teens, well their activity list is too long but boredom is not going to be an issue !

Morning and afternoon rides, as well as all day adventures take you from flower-strewn meadows to the mountain high country. This unspoiled location can see some dramatic changes in scenery.   The ranch has over sixty head of horses, suited to all riding levels. During your stay they will  teach you western horsemanship,  you may spend  as much time in the arena and on the trails as you like. The riding begins with Safety Instructions and the remainder of the week is then gerared around your riding level and personal interests.

The riding stock is both well-trained and responsive, these horses are a joy to ride for those guests who want more of a challenge. Their mountain location allows endless opportunity to see new country and to put in longer day rides.

The numbers out on the rides are kept smaller in number, six or less guests. The Wranglers offer you the chance to focus on your individual interests. Whenever possible, they  encourage riding abreast but the lower paths up into the hills to the meadows are narrow so in line riding is required here.

We stayed here June 2011 It was fantastic I could not fault it or the staff. Brilliant riding in the mountains and lovely food awaits when you get back to the ranch

We have just returned from a wonderful week at Triple J (September 2017). The ranch was everything we could have hoped for with owners Ernie and Kim being the loveliest hosts. The cabins were cosy and we were very well fed. The trail rides took us through the most spectacular scenery on calm, steady horses ending up with a lounge in the hot tub..what could be better. Put it on your bucket list, we are again! Tina and David Mackie
